The official policy of Chipet

Policy of Engagement
This party feels the obligation to set the matter straight regarding the policy Great Petronia should follow, concerning China. By no means are we willing to sacrifice our trade and political relationships with China. We though recognize the fact that not all China’s policies are accepted by the global community. We are also rather concerned about the violation of human rights and the destruction of the environment, thus we are critical about some of their policies and are willing to help them meet the accepted environmental and humanitarian standards. This will be accomplished by giving them different incentives to cooperate. Using economic sanctions and so harming our trade with them is not a part of our policy. We only accept to use pressure on them if the situation reaches extremely unacceptable levels and the global community decides to act; namely pressure is our last resort. To sum up, Chipet will use diplomacy in order to try to help China meet the democratic and environmental standards.
GENERAL TOOLS that can be used:
- Trading
- Dialogue
- Aid to population
- Scientific and technological collaboration, sharing of the know-how
- Improve China’s relations with other great powers

This is Nasser, I wanted to let you guys know that as Parliamentary Leader, I will NOT be representing the Middle East, rather, I will be representing our nation as a whole, ensuring that everyone’s ideas and policies are heard, especially that of China’s, and your department. China is a major playor in our foreign policy, and if their is a bill(s) your department proposes, I will make sure that it is fully addressed and passed to the best of my ability. I am here for you, China, and our nation, NOT the middle east.
